Short Leave Register

 A Short Leave Register is a document used to record and track employee short leaves, which are brief periods of absence from work. Short leave means 2-3 hours leave from school/job. Here's a suggested format:

Columns

  1. Date: Date when an employee needs short leave
  2. Name: Name of the employee with designation
  3. Nature of work: Reason for short leave
  4. Dept. Time: School leaving time
  5. Name of alternate teacher: The teacher who will teach alternative classes.
  6. Signature at dept.: Signature before leaving the school.
  7. Time of arrival.: For short leave teacher must come back to school after leave-if leave is availed in the morning. Write time when teacher is back to school.
  8. Signature at arr.: Signature after coming back to the school.
  9. Head Teacher: Signature of the head teacher.

Maintaining the Register

  1. Record all short leaves: Ensure that all employee short leaves are recorded in the register.
  2. Use a standardized system: Use a standardized system for recording short leaves to ensure consistency.
  3. Keep it up-to-date: Regularly update the register to reflect new short leave records.
